In the “simple luxury” concept, the hotel overlooks Tijuca Forest and it offers great dining, bars and a mini spa. Only 51 rooms in a 18-floor building. Unbeatable location.

Another hotel making the Forbes Awards’ list, it offers a bohemian setting, as a reference to the glamour of the 1950s. Astonishing views of Sugarloaf are a highlight. Rooms with private balconies and an infinite pool are a nice extra.

Comfortable rooms and sophisticated environment. It offers a great. breakfast buffet, gym, lobby bar but it lacks other amenities. A five-ten minute ride will take you to Ipanema or Leblon at night.

Located right on the beach – near the ocean, and Ipanema Beach Posto 9, one of the trendiest sections of Rio. Its several amenities include a restaurant, a pool, and a cocktail bar, all oceanfront.
Hotel Arpoador

Also located right on the beach, this is a solid choice for those looking for comfort and great location, but don’t care for high-end amenities. It offers a bar, a pool, a sauna and daily yoga classes overlooking the sea.
